KR INSIDER is independently operated by Daniel, who moved to South Korea in 2018 and became a naturalized Korean citizen in 2022. Along that journey he has personally navigated the systems most expats face — ARC registration, visa renewals, Jeonse housing contracts, tax filings, and insurance enrollment — from first arrival through full citizenship. Every guide and tool on this site draws on that firsthand experience and is verified against official government sources — NTS, MOEL, NHIS, and HiKorea.
